All our cats are very much pets, they live with us in our house and sleep on our bed, although they do have their own room complete with TV, stereo, settee and exit to a cat run for during the day. We have three boys who are neuters and are now semi-retired from showing, they like lots of attention and to be allowed to run around the garden in the summer. Champion and Grand Premier Beardwood Thomas O'Malley - Tom. Sire: Gr. Ch. Coonquest Oscar ofBeardwood x Dam:Matagot Vashti. Tom was born in December 1997, he is a brown classic tabby, weighing in at 17lbs and was bred by Norrie Crook, who gave Tom to Jacky as a present following the death of her black Maine Coon Nicky. He is a very handsome cat with a wonderful personality. He is well know at shows as he loves attention and he is a real people cat. His show career has been exceptional and he is currently enjoying a semi retirement although he may compete at some future shows.
Champion & Premier Darktower Clyde of Saville - Clydie. Sire: Ch. & Gr.Pr. Beardwood Thomas O'Malley x Dam: Ch. Purdyston Dixie Belle. Clydie (The Red Marauder) was born in May 1999, he is a red classic tabby and was the first first Darktower litters. There were nine kittens in the litter but he was obviously the strongest in personality. He currently weighs 16lbs and is still growing! He is a real character and likes nothing more than fighting with Butch or messing in the sink. Although he has titled, he does not like showing and hence has been retired. Clydie's speciality is biting feet and teaching the kittens his marauding way!
Premier Darktower Macavity Sire: Belujondra Montezuma X Dam: Ch & Pr Noracoon Tiberia Mackie is a real softy, he is still very kitten like, although he is now over 3 years old. He loves people and sits by our feet, he is very mischievous and often is the start of any naughtiness in the house, specially climbing on the mantelpiece or up the curtains! He loves showing and is a real show off. He unfortunately has a heart condition so we have had to retire him from showing or stud work.
