All our cats are very much pets, they live with us in our house and sleep on our bed, although they do have their own room complete with TV, stereo, settee and exit to a cat run for during the day. Champion Purdyston Dixie Belle - Doodle Bug. Sire: Shookatoo Robert Dazzler x Dam: Karolou Red Sonja. Buggy was born in September 1997, she is a brown tortie classic tabby, weighing in at 10lbs and was bred by Linda Calvert. She is a very pretty cat with a wonderful personality. In her first shows she tried to attract the judges attention by grabbing their white coats has they walked passed her pen. She had her first litter of nine in 1999 and has recently retired from breeding. She was an excellent mother and her kittens are beautiful as demonstrated by their success on the show bench.
Champion & Premier Noracoon Tiberia - Tibbey. Sire: Coonyham Durango x Dam: Noracoon The Caesarbaby. Tibbey was born in 1997, she is a solid tortie and white and weighs 11lbs. We re-homed Tiberia in 2000 and she has since had several litters of kittens. She has now retired from breeding, but her kittens have wonderful natures and love to climb up you. Unlike Tibs who is a very fiery character who dominates the other cats but has learned to come when whistled!
Buraig Sophia ofDarktower - Soxy or Soph. Sire: Gr. Ch. Coonquest Oscar of Beardwood x Dam: Huffenpuff Mica Avhimmel. Soxy was born in November 1998, she is a solid black & white smoke. She is a very cheeky cat who likes a lot of attention and to knead your hair. She has beautiful kittens with wonderful temperaments who are very bold and quick learners. Her first litter contained and her second five. She loves showing, however, at the moment most of the judges can not appreciate a solid Maine Coon.
Darktower Aphrodite - Afro. Sire: Seascape Hawkeye X Dam: Buraig Sophiaof Darktower Aphie was born on Valentines Day 2002. She is a solid black and is already full of mischief. She loves to be the centre of attention but is very independant, loves her kitties, but thinks she is one herself and loves it when the other cats have kittens as they become her playmates. She can often be found on the Maine Coon Cat Club stand at the Supreme show, showing off and messing with all the tickling sticks, which she loves.
Darktower Toscana - Tosca Sire: Ch Sheridan Childe of Maine X Dam: Ch Purdyston Dixie Belle Tosca was born in January this year, she is a lovely kitten and the last of Dixie's litters. She is a real tearaway, and is so full of beans and loves getting into everything. Tosca has just had her first litter of kittens and is a great mum.
